Korean Short-rib Marinade

10 pounds short ribs (trimmed)
1 cup soy sauce
.5 cup brown sugar

1 cup Mirin

¼ cup Rice Wine vinegar
3 tablespoon sesame oil
.5 cup garlic (chopped)
½ cup ginger (grated)
4 green onions (sliced)
2cups onion (grated)
2 Asian pear (grated)

1 cup Hoisin

3 TbspSambal Chili


Sesame seeds (toasted and crushed)

Green onions, sliced


  1. Mix all ingredients together except the short ribs and set aside in container labeled.
  2. When ready to marinate pour sauce over ribs and allow to set no more than 48 hours.


For pick up:

Season Marinated short ribs with salt and pepper.

Grill Medium and put on plate.

Garnish with sesame seeds, green, onions and pears
